The Hitachi H-25 is a high-performance gas turbine manufactured by Hitachi (Japan) under GE Frame 5 technology. Each unit delivers a rated power of 32.7 MW and is suitable for large-scale power generation projects.
Two (2) identical units are available. Both units were manufactured in 2012, began operation in August 2012, and were stopped in March 2023. Unit 1 has 21,753 running hours with 907 starts; Unit 2 has 21,676 hours with 909 starts. The turbine is a 3-stage, single-shaft open simple cycle design with a rotation speed of 7,251 rpm and a 17-stage axial flow air compressor.
Each unit includes a Hitachi gear unit (39,000 kW, ratio 4.029:1, 7,251/1,800 rpm), a BRUSH HMA generator (36,334 kVA, 13,800 V, 1,520 A, 60 Hz, 1,800 rpm, 0.9 PF, star winding, air cooled), and a BRUSH HMA brushless exciter and permanent magnetic generator. The units feature low emissions with NOx at 25 ppm.
